Writing has been a passionate hobby for me all of my life; for mental and emotional release, as well as, for producing income on occasion. While living in South Lake Tahoe, CA, I wrote scripts for local television and radio commercials for several years, and tutored English composition at the community college. After moving to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I was a victim of Hurricane Katrina in which I lost everything, and I published a book recounting the event entitled, Katrina: The Nightmare That Won't Go Away, which will be available soon through Publish America. I have also started writing a follow-up book to the storm entitled, Katrina, The Nightmare: 3 and 1/2 Years in a Trailer, which depicts the oftentimes overlooked trauma and hardship surrounding the aftermath of a natural disaster.
I share my newly rebuilt Biloxi home with my 6 cats, who give me great joy; each of which I rescued from outside as kittens after the storm. I have a collection of poetry entitled, Love, Life and Everything That Goes With It, another book yet to be published entitled, Wise Words: Your Grandparents Wisom is Eternal, and a children's book in the works entitled, The Adventures of E-Waggle.
